TEACHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Developing innovative and engaging lesson plans that meet Goddard standards
- Effectively and professionally communicating to parents and fellow staff members
- Using computer & tablet-based classroom and lesson planning/assessment apps
- Following Goddard Schools QA Health & Safety Standards
- Interacting with the children to support play, exploration, and learning; planning and implementing activities that develop self-esteem, intellectual stimulation, and social skills
- Committing to continuing education and staying current on the latest early childhood practices
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Lead Teachers
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field OR current CDA or enrollment in a credentialing program
- Minimum of 2 years prior classroom experience
- Minimum of 12 ECE units and a passion for teaching children
- Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices
- Strong communication skills; Ability to use Reporting Apps & Tablets
- Current CPR and First Aid Training
- Ability to lift and carry children and other items weighing up to 50 pounds

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
License/Certification:
- Question: Do you have at least 12 units of ECE coursework (Preferred)
